In London, Again!

Ich entschuldige mich hiermit fuer meine Abwesenheit, aber unser Internet zuhause ist kaputtgegangen - deshalb konnte ich diesen Blog einfach nicht aktualisieren. Ich bin jetzt wieder in London, seit heute morgen (und musste dafuer um 5:45 Uhr aufstehen, sehr viel zu frueh) und werde eine ganze Woche hierbleiben.
Die Bilder habe ich im Haus meiner Eltern gemacht, im Klavierzimmer, um genau zu sein.

I'm sorry for my absence, but our internet at home broke - so there was no way for me to update this blog. I'm in London now, I arrived this morning (and had to get up at 5.45 am, way to early!) and will spend a whole week here.

Heute ist nun also der große Tag...ich wünsche euch Frohe Weihnachten! Ich hoffe ihr genießt die Zeit mit eurer Familie und Freunden. Wir haben schon den Weihnachtsbaum geschmückt und freuen uns auf einen schönen und angenehmen Abend zusammen.

Loose Bows

Der letzte Tag vor Weihnachten - und ich genieße es zu Hause zu sein, auf dem Land, mit dem ganzen Schnee drumherum. Heute abend werde ich eine Freundin besuchen, die ich nun mittlerweile schon seit 15 Jahren kenne - eine ziemlich lange Zeit. Wir wollen Disney-Filme gucken (die alten, guten!)...ich habe wirklich ein Faible für die. Wer hat gesagt, dass man, bloß, weil man seine Teenager-Zeit hinter sich gelassen hat, sich immer wie ein Erwachsener verhalten muss?
Ja, gewöhnt euch besser daran, den Hund in den Bildern zu sehen - offensichtlich fühlt er sich sehr wohl vor der Kamera!

The last day before christmas - and I enjoy being at home, in the country, with all the snow around me. Tonight I'm going to visit a friend I know for about 15 years know - a freaking long time. We'll watch Disney films (the old, good ones!)...I really have a weakness for these! Did anyone say just because you left your teenage years behind, you always have to behave like a grown-up?
Oh, and better get used to see the dog in my pictures - apparently he feels very comfortable in front of the camera!

Ich kann kaum glauben dass diese Woche schon Weihnachten ist! Ich habe den Weihnachtsmarkt bis jetzt nur einmal besucht und habe keinen der Adventssonntage gefeiert, ich bin also nicht wirklich in einer weihnachtlichen Stimmung. Ich fahre morgen aber nach Hause zu meinen Eltern, es sollte sich bessern wenn ich erstmal den Weihnachtsbaum sehe und Plätzchen backe und so weiter!

I can't believe it's christmas this week! I just visited the christmas market once and didn't celebrate one of the Sundays in Advent, so I'm not really in a christmassy mood actually. But, I'm going to drive home to my parents tomorrow, it should get better when I see the christmas tree and bake cookies and everything like that!

Es gibt Tage, an denen ich bloß zehn Minuten brauche, um mein Outfit zusammenzustellen. An anderen Tagen dauert es sehr viel länger. Ich probiere dann verschiedene Kombinationen aus, oft ähnlich zueinander. Ich habe diese Fotos glaube ich im Oktober geschossen, als ich mal wieder einen Ich-kann-mich-nicht-entscheiden-Tag hatte...

There are days when it just takes ten minutes to compose my outfit, and on other days it takes a lot more time. I try out different combinations then, often quite similar ones. I took these shots in Oktober I guess, when I had a I-just-can't-decide-day...

Roses And Mulled Wine

Heute war ein sehr schöner Tag: meine Freundinnen und ich sind in Leipzigs Zentrum herumgelaufen, haben Glühwein getrunken und waren ein bisschen bummeln sowie Sight-Seeing. Wir haben vor morgen an einen See zu fahren um einen schönen winterlichen Spaziergang zu machen: hoffentlich schneit es dann!
Ich habe außerdem eine neue Location für Fotos gefunden. Es ist nur so eisig kalt draußen ohne Mantel...und ich entschuldige mich für die Überbelichtung, keine Ahnung was meine Kamera da gemacht hat.

Today was a really nice day: my friends and I walked around in Leipzig's center, had a mulled wine and went a bit shopping and sight-seeing. We plan to drive to a lake tomorrow to go for a nice wintery walk: let's hope it'll be snowy!
I found a new location for taking pictures! But it's just so freezing cold without my coat on...and I'm sorry for the poor lightning, I don't know what my camera was doing.

Londoners In Leipzig

Ich freue mich schon sehr lange auf den heutigen Tag - in zwei Stunden werde ich meine beiden Mitbewohnerinnen aus London wiedersehen, die mich besuchen kommen! Sie werden für eine Woche hier in Leipzig bleiben und wir werden viele tolle Dinge zusammen machen. Ich werde trotzdem versuchen, euch auf dem Laufenden zu halten...
Das Oufit habe ich Freitag abend getragen: wir sind zu einer Radiosender-Party gegangen, die in einer alten Post stattfand. Es war ziemlich lustig! Ich habe welliges/lockiges Haar gehabt, ich mag das.

I looked forward to today for quite a long time now - in two hours I'll see my two flat mates from London again, who are visiting me! They'll stay for a week here in Leipzig, and we're going to do lots of awesome things. I'll try to keep you posted, though...
This is an outfit I wore on Friday night: there was a radio station party in an old post office, which was quite fun! I wore my hair curly/wavy, what I really like.

Ever-Changing

Als ich gestern das Haus verlassen habe, mochte ich mein Outfit schon nicht mehr. Ich war schon immer jemand der seine Meinung bezüglich Mode schnell gewechselt hat. Aber offensichtlich ändert sich das manchmal auch schon innerhalb ein paar Minuten...darum zeige ich euch nur meine Frisur und den Mantel!

When I left the house yesterday I didn't like my outfit anymore. I was always someone who changed his mind quickly when it comes to fashion. But, apparently, this sometimes just needs a few minutes...that's why I just show you my hairstyle and the coat, basically!

Flowers In Winter

Ich habe heute morgen den L'Oréal Mascara ausprobiert - durch den Kopf dauert das Auftragen wesentlich länger, aber die Wimpern sind schön getrennt. Leider muss ich sagen, dass, wenn er aufgebraucht ist, ich ihn mir bestimmt nicht kaufen werde...
Heute habe ich ein Kleid getragen, was ich erst am Morgen fertig abgeändert hatte: als ich es von meiner Großtante bekommen habe, war es groß und auch etwas unförmig, deshalb habe ich es gekürzt und allgemein kleiner und enger genäht.

I tried the L'Oréal mascara this morning - due to the round-shaped wand it takes a bit of time to apply it, but the lashes are nicely seperated. Unfortunately I have to say, that, when the mascara is finished, I won't purchase it...
Today I wore a dress I just finished to alter in the morning: when I got it from my great-aunt it was big and unshaped, that's why I shortened it and took it in.

Birds Flying High

Heute war eine nette kleine Überraschung im Briefkasten: die Telescopic Explosion Mascara von L'Oréal. Ich habe sie als Willkommensgeschenk erhalten, da ich Mitglied im Absolutely VIP club bin (ich habe mich eigentlich nur deswegen angemeldet!). Ich werde sie morgen ausprobieren und euch wissen lassen, ob sie etwas taugt oder nicht.

Today, there was a little nice surprise in the package: the Telescopic Explosion Mascara by L'Oréal. I got it as a welcome gift, because I'm a member in the Absolutely VIP club (I actually just signed in because of this present!). I'll try it tomorrow and let you know weather it's crap or wonderful.




Da ich gestern den ganzen Tag kalte Füße hatte, habe ich mich heute entschieden meine Winterstiefel zu tragen. Ich denke nun ist es wirklich Zeit die sommerlichen und nicht-wasserfesten Schuhe zu verabschieden.

As I had cold feet all day long yesterday, I decided to wear my winter boots today. I think it's finally time to say goodbye to summery and non-waterproof shoes.
